Computer Illustration Final

For our final project in computer illustration, my class was given the opportunity to make and piece that we chose. I decided to create a pulp fiction cover based on a popular video game series Resident Evil. My inspirations for this piece were the cover styles of Tales from the Crypt, and The Walking Dead comics. This was done in Adobe Photoshop Cs5 and was completed in a week.

Tracing Assignment

At the beginning of second semester my computer illustration classes first assignment was to do a tracing piece of a comic book character, or a cartoon character in adobe illustrator cs5. I decided to do a tracing of Batman Beyond. Both tracings were done in adobe illustrator CS5, the colored piece was painted in photoshop CS5. I do not own any rights to batman or batman beyond, both are owned by Warner Bros. and DC Comics

This painting was done on a 12x16 canves and was painted using oil.

Book cover illustration

This piece was an assignment for my illustration class. The project was to create our own version of a popular novel, I decided to make one for the novel DUNE by Frank Herbert. It is a traditional painting done in acrylic paint and it took a total of 3 weeks to finish.
